The world of anime enthusiasts is abuzz with excitement as the official website for the television anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki’s “The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse” (Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi) sequel manga released the anime’s first promotional video.

On Monday, the first trailer for the television anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse (Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi) sequel manga went live. The anime’s opening theme music, “Up to Me!” by Little Glee Monster, is previewed in the video.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Opening Theme

TMS Entertainment uploaded the creditless versions of the opening and closing theme animations on its YouTube channel in conjunction with the debut of the most recent installment of The Seven Deadly Sins anime adaptation, Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Little Glee Monster’s “UP TO ME!” serves as the opening theme for the videos, and MOONCHILD’s “Friends Are For” is featured as the closing theme.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Release Date

On October 8 at 4:30 p.m. (3:30 a.m. EDT), the anime will make its television debut on TBS and its 27 affiliates during a newly developed anime programming time. There won’t be any breaks during the anime’s half-year run.

Cast and Staff Behind the Anime

At Telecom Animation Film, the anime is being directed by Maki Odaira (Pokémon Journeys: The Series), and the series scripts are being written and overseen by Shigeru Murakoshi (I’m Quitting Heroing, Zombie Land Saga).

The character designer is Youichi Takada (key animator for Lupin the Third: Part 5, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), and Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto are responsible for the music. The soundtrack is also being written by Yamamoto. Planning and production are handled by TMS’s UNLIMITED PRODUCE.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Plot

In January 2021, Suzuki published the comic in Weekly Shnen Magazine. The manga is being published simultaneously in print and digitally in English by Kodansha USA Publishing. As stated by the firm, the first volume is:

In an isolated sanctuary perched far above the clouds known as God’s Finger, Percival has always lived with his grandfather. And even though he enjoys living simply, he secretly yearns for adventure. But when an outsider who has a startling link to him rips apart all Percival has ever known, his life is permanently altered.

Percival embarks on a solo journey since he is left with no choice but to find the person who stole everything from him. The sheltered child learns along his travels that there are numerous aspects of everyday life that he is unaware of. The Seven Deadly Sins Manga

The original Seven Deadly Sins manga by Suzuki debuted in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2012 and ran through March 2020. In May 2020, Kodansha released the manga’s 41st and last volume.

The manga is being printed and digitally distributed in English by Kodansha USA Publishing. As soon as fresh chapters were released in Japan, Crunchyroll posted them. The manga served as the basis for numerous films and television anime adaptations.
