The IDOLMASTER Million Live is one of the most popular franchises among fans of idol and music genres in anime and games. This already-seen but beautiful story will be a go-to place for fans of these themes this year as well, because the new series of The IDOLMASTER Million Live! the franchise will premiere in October 2023.
An online special streamed in honor of the franchise’s 10th anniversary, showed a recap of all IDOLMASTER installments and productions from 2013 to 2022 and then announced that a new anime will be released in the fall of 2023.
The IDOLMASTER Million Live! Staff and Cast
Shinya Watada will direct the anime in Shirogumi Inch. Yoichi Kato is overseeing and writing the script, and Lantis will produce the music. Bandai Namco Studio is collaborating on anime and Bandai Namco Entertainment, the original creator, is planning and producing the new series.
The teaser also revealed the main cast for the lead characters of the anime:

The IDOLMASTER Million Live! The game first appeared in 2013 as a spinoff of the original IDOLMASTER game series. The game featured 765 Pro characters from the original series, as well as 37 new characters. Collectors obtained the idols by ranking cards by rarity and dividing them into three categories: Vocal, Dance, and Visual. They reserved a fourth category, Ex, for special cards. Leveling up the cards made the idols stronger, with the higher rarities reaching higher levels. The game ended service in March 2018.

Bandai Namco Entertainment launched another game, called IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theater Days on June 29, 2017, for Android and iOS. It is a simulation game, with 3D models, periodically released story missions, and multiple choice ‘communication’ events with the idols.
