On November 25, the movie had its Japanese premiere. It debuted at #2, selling 225,000 tickets for 297 million yen, or around $2.14 million, in its first weekend. In the first three days, audiences bought 313,000 tickets, totaling 416 million yen, or around $3.19 million.
On January 20, the movie debuted in the US and Canada. In its first three days, it made US$1,588,491. The movie had its world premiere on Crunchyroll on January 18 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, January 19 in Australia, and January 26 in Mexico.
