On March 26, 2023, the officials announced the second season of Spy x Family at the Anime Japan 20223 event. According to the announcement, Spy x Family season 2 will be released in October 2023 on TV Tokyo and several other Japanese television networks. 

Moreover, they also revealed where this upcoming season will be released digitally for international viewers. Spy x Family season 2 will also be released on Crunchyroll, where the first season was released. 

On the other hand, the officials also released a promo video for Spy x Family season 2 on December 24, 2022. It is the first and only promo video for the second season and was released on Toho Animation’s YouTube channel.
