Scott Pilgrim Live Action
Six volumes of the first Scott Pilgrim comic book series were published between 2004 and 2010. The protagonist of O’Malley’s series was the titular failure-to-launch Pilgrim, who, after falling in love with delivery girl Ramona, was mortally challenged to date her by her demonic ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriend.
Wright turned the comic book into a feature picture, which was well-received by critics but a commercial dud. Initially, Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was a six-volume comic book series.
The Oni Press book Scott Pilgrim followed the titular hero as he battled Ramona’s seven nasty ex-boyfriends. Scott also has to “Get It Together” and improve as a friend and partner. The comic, which drew heavily on video games, manga, alternative music, and Toronto, became an instant classic in and of itself.
It was so well-liked that the live-action remake began before the TV show had ended. A month after the publication of the final volume of the comic, director, co-writer, and producer Edgar Wright’s film was released.
Last but not least The Scott Pilgrim anime from Netflix was described as “coming soon” without a specific release date being given. As soon as we got any update we’ll post it here.
