Record of Ragnarok will be one of the most controversial anime in the world. Yet, the public sees it as cool fighting anime between gods and humans.

Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2 New Visual
The new visual was released on May 25, 2023. Just like with the visual for the second season of Record of Ragnarok, it shows both the contender in the human and god sides.
But, as you can see, Buddha who is originally fighting on god side, will change his side and become human’s representative. Meanwhile, the god side will be represented by Hajun. A bit of a spoiler, Hajun is the fused form of the seven God of luck led by Bishamonten.
There will be five episodes in total for the second part of the show. It means the fight will have a slower pace compared to each fight in the first season.
Netflix will broadcast it worldwide on July 12, 2023. Surprisingly, it will take time for the second part to debut on TV in Japan. For the record, the first part of Record of Ragnarok 2 has three months gap between Netflix and Japan’s TV debut.
Another piece of information we get is the announcement of Hades and Beelzebub’s VA. We have three new VAs who will appear in the second part. They are:
- Tetsu Inada as Hajun
- Ryotaro Okiayu as Hades
- Daisuke Namikawa as Beelzebub

7 million years of human civilization is coming to an end. Gods meet every 1000 years to decide the fate of humans. Because of his past mistake, they decide to end the human race.
But, a Valkyrie, who is basically a demihuman, gives the god a proposal before they make a verdict. She proposes that they test the human with the old system “Ragnarok”, the battle of humans against gods.
Getting provoked, Gods agree with the proposal. Now, it is up to the human to fight the final struggle. 13 champions from both sides will fight one on one. The first 7 winners will decide the outcome.
Will humans survive? Or annihilated? The mythical battle between heaven and earth begins!
