Spy x family is one of the most well-known and quickly became the best of the best in terms of mainstream anime. Those who aren’t in the know might be perplexed as to why it’s so well-liked. Alternately, others may find the show repulsive and wonder why viewers truly adore it. In either case, Spy x Family is entertaining for a variety of reasons.
Yor and Anya, the part of Twilights or May I say Forgers Family, are created with comedy in mind from the beginning. Their disparate personalities combine to make a humorous mixture.
So what’s Spy x Family anime all about?
Successful government spy Twilight’s most recent mission required him to infiltrate a prestigious organization. He needs a kid and a wife because “both parents must be there at any cost” for him to flourish.
Anya Forger, an orphan, is adopted by Twilight under the name Loid Forger. On the other side, Anya discloses that she has the ability to read minds. She is fully aware of the circumstances, yet she still chooses to continue since she likes spying.
Then Loid met a woman named Yor at the cloth shop who appears normal office worker, to agree to a fictitious marriage with his daughter. But on the other hand, Yor has her own secrets, with a codename of Thorn Princess, she’s a professional assassin.

Spy x Family Manga and Popularity
Tatsuya Endo’s Spy x Family, the first manga artwork to debut in 2019, has now published more than 60 chapters and nine tankobon volumes.
The manga took home the Next Manga Award for Best Web Manga in its first year in Japan. The top manga for male readers in 2020, according to the well-known domestic manga guide “Kono Manga ga Sugoi!”, was Spy x Family. The series received nominations for the Eisner and Harvey Awards in the United States in 2021.
A record for any Shonen Jump + manga, volume 6 had an initial print run of 1 million copies when it was published in 2020. It was announced that sold 15 million copies in Japan just before the anime’s debut.
So what’s the reason behind the success of the series?
Spy x Family by Tatsuya Endo has received high appreciation for its hilarious scenes as well as for its beautiful artwork and wholesome moments.
The series is mostly known for its entertainment. Before everything else, Spy x Family is a comedy, with much of the humor centered on the strange family attempting to function in everyday circumstances. Yor is more emotive and less intelligent than Twilight, who is sometimes portrayed as a stiff-upper-lipped type. Anya Forger, meantime, watches everything happen and is a favorite among the public because of her adorable reactions.
The wide variety of facial expressions used by Tatsuya Endo, which distinguishes the series from typical humor manga, is also praised. It will be intriguing to see whether the anime can capture the sophistication of the manga.
Beyond the comedy, the manga’s artwork deserves special mention. Despite being a comedy series, Spy x Family does a fantastic job of portraying action situations.
In the end, if you have already watched Season 1 then the wait is finally over and Season 2 has started airing so if you love laugh-out-loud comedy anime with fantastic style and some cool action then don’t wait and start watching because the forger family is beyond the predictions, definitely Anya knows everything.
