Overwatch 2 recently announced on Thursday that they will have a collaboration with the popular Cowboy Bebop anime on March 12. A video announcing the collaboration is set to the anime’s iconic opening “Tank”.
More information about the game skins will be available on March 11 before the collab goes live.
In this collaboration, Cowboy Bebop-inspired skins, emotes, intros, and other goodies will be available during the event. Unlockable Legendary skins include Spike Spiegel Cassidy, Faye Valentine Ashe, Jet Black Mauga, Ed Sombra, and Ein Wreckingball. Ein Wreckinball will be unlocked for free for all players.
This isn’t the first time that the game did a collaboration with an anime franchise. In fact, the popular One Punch Man franchise also had a collaboration with a game back in March 2023.
Overwatch 2 is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Serving as a sequel to the critically acclaimed Overwatch, the game builds upon the foundation of its predecessor while introducing new features and gameplay mechanics.

Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese anime television series created by Shinichirō Watanabe. It first aired in Japan from April 3 to June 26, 1998, and consists of 26 episodes. The series gained significant acclaim both domestically and internationally for its unique blend of genres, including science fiction, noir, and western, as well as its stylish animation, memorable characters, and iconic soundtrack composed by Yoko Kanno.
Set in the year 2071, Cowboy Bebop follows the adventures of a ragtag group of bounty hunters, known as “cowboys,” who travel through space aboard the spaceship Bebop. The crew consists of the laid-back former hitman Spike Spiegel, the ex-cop Jet Black, the femme fatale Faye Valentine, the quirky hacker Ed, and their canine companion Ein. Together, they pursue bounties across the galaxy while confronting their own troubled pasts.
