On Thursday, Kadokawa announced that the Oshi no Ko television anime, based on the manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, will debut on April 12 at 11:00 p.m. (10:00 a.m. EDT) on the Tokyo MX channel.
Additionally, it will air that day on the following channels: Chiba TV, Gunma TV, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, Shizuoka Broadcasting System, TV Aichi, TVK, Saitama TV, Tochigi TV, Hokuriku Broadcasting, Higashinippon Broadcasting, Hiroshima Home TV, TV Hokkaido, TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu, and Broadcasting System of Niigata.
On AT-X, it will make its debut on April 14. On April 12, Abema TV will stream it, and on April 13, other streaming providers will do the same.

OSHI NO KO Anime Trailer and Key Visual
The teaser trailer, extra characters, and cast members of the television anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s Oshi no Ko manga were unveiled during a live-streamed event.

OSHI NO KO Storyline
The protagonist of the novel is Goro, a young doctor who is a die-hard admirer of Ai Hoshino, his hero. A wild fan kills him after abruptly instructing him to manage the birth of his favorite idol’s offspring, and later, he and one of his patients find themselves resurrected as Ai’s children.
The narrative follows them as they discover the truth about their birth and emulate their cherished mother and Oshi (Favorite Girl).
OSHI NO KO Manga
Aka Akasaka, the creator of Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War, wrote Oshi No Ko, a manga with illustrations by Mengo Yokoyari. The manga was published in 2020 and has recently become available on Jump +!
The manga’s eighth volume was published in Japan on June 17, 2022, and more than 3 million copies have been sold thus far! Oshi No Ko also took up the top prize in the print category at the 2021 Next Manga Awards.
