There is a whole different fandom when it comes to age-gap romance series. Murai In Love is just one of those that keeps fans on their toes. The project is currently in development and will hit the screens sometime in October this year.
To increase the fans’ curiosity, the anime creators keep teasing them with key visuals and teasers. In the recent announcement, we received additional voice cast details, visuals, and a trailer.
About Murai In Love Anime
Judging from the one-and-a-half-minute trailer and character designs, we can say something different is coming. The rom-com feels fresh, raising our hopes and expectations from the upcoming anime project. All the characters are so pretty that it’s nearly impossible for us to stop our heart beating for them.
It’s the anime adaptation of Junta Shima’s popular rom-com manga series. Many of you might have guessed from the animation quality that it’s the work of one of our favorite studios, J.C. Staff. Yoshinobu Ymakawa is the director, and Susumu Yamakawa is the series composer. Ruka Kawada and Jin Aketagawa handles the music and sound direction, respectively.

Plot

It’s a high school romance comedy story about a high school teacher named Tanaka and a student named Murai. The teacher is obsessed with Otome games, and it’s probably the only thing that excites her. Murai, on the other hand, is head over heels for her and expresses his love only to face rejection. Instead of giving up on his love, he decides to win Tanaka’s heart by transforming into her favorite character.
