It features characters who deal with the issue of labour on a daily basis and is scheduled for release in Japan in November 2023. Moreover, This year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival’s Contrechamp division will screen the movie. However, a global release date is yet to be announced.

The setting of Komada — A Whisky Family will be a whisky distillery, as suggested by the title. A trailer offering a quick glimpse at the scene, the character in it, and an illustration have been made public with Komada – A Whisky Family’s release date.

Furthermore, Komada — A Whisky Family is directed by Masayuki Yoshihara. With a screenplay by Yukito Kizawa and Muneo Nakamoto. After that, Tomomi Takada created the initial character designs for the film, and Kousuke Kawatsura is responsible for the principal animation direction. In addition, Tatsuya Katou is in charge of the soundtrack for the movie.
Plot
Young Rui Komada is in charge of the failing family distillery. After her father’s passing, she assumed control of the distillery. As a result, Rui decides to revive the family’s distinctive Japanese whisky in an effort to rebuild her family’s relationships in the face of financial hardship, a fractured family, and sadly the effects of a natural disaster.
