Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai is the upcoming anime adaptation of the popular fantasy novel series. The higher-ups have finally announced the release date for the upcoming anime. April 4, 2024, is the day you gotta remember. With the great news came details regarding the additional voice cast, characters, staff, and much more.

The 47-second teaser trailer introduces us to a fantasy world with classic and historical elements. Yoshiaki Kyogoku is on board as a director at the fans’ favorite studio Pierrot. Yukiko Yamamura is responsible for the series composition, while Takumo Norita is the character designer. Eishi Segawa has taken charge as the music composer, whereas Yuji Tange is the sound director.
We also received a few high-quality and appealing key visuals along with the details. One of them introduced us to the six new characters and their respective voice actors.

The story introduces us to the Japanese Mythological creature Yatagurasu, a three-legged raven. We follow a cute boy named Yukiya, a Yatagurasu who is the main center of the story. The Yatagurasu can shapeshift into humans, which makes it easier for them to handle affairs. Yukiya becomes the servant of the famous prince Nauzkihiko, and the story highlights their chemistry and bond. It will be super intriguing to see how the duo will deal with daily life’s ups and downs.
