Time for our favourite entertainer, Comedy Shounen manga Isobe Isobee Monogatari, to receive a Live-Action Drama. The news came through the Japanese Satellite Television Station WOWOW. The release is in the decision phase, but the drama will officially hit the screens in this year’s summer. It’s also confirmed that the drama will have approximately 10 episodes.

Popular Japanese Actor and Model famous for his role as Seishu Handa in Barakamon is on board. He will play the main character Isobe Isobee. The actor himself is super excited and glad to work for the Live-Action drama and the production staff and team.
The manga debut the industry in 2013 and finished in 2017. In 2015, we received a short anime adaptation that won many hearts. It also received a music adaptation a year later. The manga did really well globally, selling around one and a half million copies.

Plot

However, contrary to his passions, his actions don’t align with what he dreams. He is a lazy slacker samurai. He is someone careless, and lacks determination. His character is what brings humour to the story. The story takes place in an Edo period, making it even more interesting.
