It’s finally happening! An anime adaptation based on Kaoru Shinozaki’s “Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells” light novels, set to debut in 2024. Along with the announcement, they also dropped a offcial teaser trailer and visual.

Staff
The anime adaptation will be directed by Michio Fukuda. He is known for his work on “Tesla Note”, while Seven Arcs takes the lead in production, with collaboration from SynergySP. Joining the team, Yasuhiro Nakanishi, acclaimed for his role in “Chained Soldier”, will serve as the series composer. Kanna Hashidate, recognized for her contributions to “Extreme Hearts”, will take on the roles of character designer and chief animation director. Additionally, Tatsuhiko Saiki, known for his musical compositions in “The Dawn of the Witch”, will be responsible for the music composition of the series.

Plot
“Failure Frame” originated as a web novel serialized on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2017 before transitioning to a manga adaptation that began in 2019. The Isekai light novels published under OVERLAP Bunko. It features illustrations by KWKM, It started out in 2018. Since then they have released eight volumes, with the latest volume published in November 2021.
Seven Seas describes the plot as:
Abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, Mimori Touka and his classmates have been summoned by the world’s resident Goddess to serve as heroes. Luckily, most of the students display amazing skills upon arrival.—except for Mimori, whose abilities bottom out at a measly E-rank. With no further use for him, the Goddess banishes Mimori to a dungeon from which no one has ever returned alive. Yet, as it turns out, Mimori’s skills aren’t so much worthless as they are abnormal. Abnormally powerful, even. If Mimori can only claw his way back to the surface, nothing will stand in his way from getting revenge.
