On Tuesday, the official Twitter account of Manga Time Kirara magazine, published by Houbunsha, announced that the television anime adaptation of Rasuko Ōkuma’s manga “Hoshikuzu Telepath” (Stardust Telepath) is scheduled to premiere in October.

The anime is set to debut in October of this year, according to the previously mentioned Hoshikuzu Telepath, who made the announcement on Tuesday. In addition, the series’ official Twitter account attracted 15,000 followers, and the main character Umika Konohoshi’s memorial artwork was published.

Anime Cast and Staff
Director Kaori, known for their work on YUYUSHUKI and The Quintessential Quintuplets II, will be leading the project alongside series composition writer Natsuko Takahashi (Farewell, My Dear Cramer) and character designer/chief animation director Takahiro Sakai (YUKI YUNA IS A HERO).
The animation production is being handled by Studio Gokumi (Phantom of the Idol). Umika Konohoshi will be played by Yurie Funato (Kuracchi in Mazica Party), while Yu Akeuchi will be portrayed by Seria Fukagawa (Toko Fukami in GLASSLIP).
Anime Plot
Rasuko Okuma started the “Hoshikuzu Telepath” manga series in May 2019 in the Manga Time Kirara magazine, and currently, there are three volumes available in Japan. The publisher’s website for the manga series provides a description of the first volume as:
“A shy girl, Umika’s problem is that she cannot speak well because of her excessive stage fright. She has gradually given up trying to make friends. Then one day, a transfer student named Yu appears.
She is an alien and has the ability of “Odekopathy,” which allows her to understand the feelings of others when her forehead is attached to others…!? A dazzling coming-of-age story of “yuri” and “space” by up-and-coming author Rusuko Okuma.“

Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine has been serializing a four-panel manga series called Hoshikuzu Telepath since May 2019. The manga is written and illustrated by Rasuko Okuma and has three volumes currently in circulation.
