An updated promo video for Hell’s Paradise, the television anime adaptation of the Jigokuraku manga of the same name, has been released, revealing new characters for the show. Moreover, the video confirmed that the show will debut in April 2023.
In addition to streaming the series will be available on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Hikari TV in Japan, and the anime will air on TV Tokyo and its associated networks as well.

Hell’s Paradise Anime Trailer and Key Visual
On Monday, Twin Engine’s “Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku” unveiled a new teaser trailer, which gave viewers a sneak peek at four new characters and some of our favorite cast members.
Although for the past events, the studio revealed a key visual that shows us all the main characters available in the series. The key visual is shown below,

Furthermore, the recent promo video unveiled four more main characters along with their main cast, many of whom are fan-favorite voice actors.

Additionally, at the Jump Festa ’23 event on Sunday, the television anime version of Yuji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga revealed seven of its key cast members. The Seven Characters and their cast members are,
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Gabimaru
- Yumiri Hanamori as Sagiri Asaemon Yamada
- Kensho Ono as Toma
- Aoi Ichikawa as Fuchi Asaemon Yamada
- Rie Takahashi as Yuzuriha
- Ryohei Kimura as Chobe Aza
- Tetsu Inada as Gantetsusai Tamiya
Kaori Makita, known for directing (Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Collect), is directing the animation at MAPPA. Additionally, Twin Engine is responsible for the show’s production. Furthermore, Akira Kindaichi, the writer of the Garo -Vanishing Line – episodes and the abandoned Sacred Beasts, is in charge of creating the series.
Koji Hisaki, known for his work on (Kids on the Slope and Banana Fish sub-character design), is creating the characters for the animation. Meanwhile, Yoshiaki Dewa, the composer of soundtracks for (The Aquatope on White Sand and IRODUKU: The World in Colors), is creating the show’s soundtrack.
Hell’s Paradise Anime Plot
The focus of the show is Gabimaru, who was once considered the strongest ninja, but abandoned his profession and broke the rules of his league. After being apprehended, he believes there’s nothing left for him to live for.
Due to his superhuman training, Gabimaru has unintentionally escaped execution several times, even surviving attempts at beheading and burning at the stake. Sagiri Asaemon, the executioner, assigns him the task of obtaining the elixir of immortality to secure his release from death row.
