On Wednesday, during the live-streamed 10th-anniversary special of the Date A Live anime franchise, the staff and cast unveiled the teaser promotional trailer and visual for the upcoming Date A Live Season 5 anime.
Following the airing of the final episode of the fourth season, the popular Date A Live anime adaptation’s fifth season was revealed. The teaser indicates the television broadcast format for the season as well as the fourth season’s cast and crew.

Accordingly, the fourth season of Date A Live’s cast and crew are confirmed in the new teaser as well. The premiere date for the fifth season has not been revealed despite the TV broadcast format’s confirmation.

During the 10th anniversary live stream, a special message board graphic including good wishes for the upcoming sequel from several Date A Live cast and crew members was made public.
Altogether the fifth installment’s director, Jun Nakagawa, attended the occasion and expressed his happiness that filming had restarted. Date A Live season 5 will be the final one, according to Nakagawa.

About Date A Live
Firstly the television anime version of Date A Live has 12 episodes in its first season, which debuted in 2013. In 2014, the second season’s 10 episodes made their debut. The first and second seasons were streamed by Funimation as they were shown in Japan.
