Danmachi Season 4 Part 2 returns in January 2023. the announcement came on October 1st, 2022. and a teaser trailer showcasing the horrors of the deeper floors along with a key visual.
The series will begin airing on January 6th, the upcoming episode will be titled “Fukaaki Disaster” carrying the story from right where it left off.

The trailer picks up where the last episode left off. Bell and Ryuu are swallowed by the Lambton and taken to the middle floors of the dungeon. The middle floors are also known as the White Palace and are essentially a giant labyrinth.
Injured from the fight against the Juggernaut, Bell, and Ryuu fight for their lives in the lower dungeons. Where they have to fight not only against the Juggernaut but other terrifying beasts.
The trailer also shows new characters, perhaps forming a search party to rescue the adventurers trapped inside the dungeon. It’s intriguing to see how these new characters might interact with Bell and Ryuu on their journey.

The key visual shows Bell and Ryuu severely injured as the Juggernaut lurks over them, wanting to kill them. The list of cast members that will play a role in the following series includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Bell Cranel. Danmachi Season 4 Part 2 is following the story from the light novel series. Season 4 of the anime series covered volumes 12-14, ending in the chapter “Beyond a Thousand Darkness.” Part of the series will cover the story from volume 15 and onwards till chapter 17.
And apparently, the following season will have lots of episodes with flashbacks. Each character reminiscing about their past and how they met one another. Seems like a perfect ending to an amazing show.
