Blue Lock became another sports-focused anime to blow viewers’ heads after Haikyu’s breakthrough. Because of its success, the sales of its manga went through the roof. The anime film BLUELOCK: Episode Nagi will bring BLUELOCK back to the field in the spring of 2024. This information was released simultaneously with the first trailer for the upcoming Seishiro Nagi spin-off movie, a teaser image, and confirmation that the staff and actors from the first TV anime season will be returning.

The movie’s title, Episode Nagi, indicates that Nagi, a talented football player, will be the main subject as he embarks on his new voyage with the Blue Lock. Yorichi Isagi served as the anime’s primary character throughout its first season, but now Nagi will take centre stage as he battles to establish himself as a talented football player in the academy.
With Muneyuki Kaneshiro displaying his leadership abilities, Shunsuke Ishikawa will be seen resuming his directing duties at 8bit. Fans don’t need to worry about any significant changes in the animation quality. It’s because the company that produced the first season’s animation is producing the movie.

The studio Eight Bit’s television adaptation of the ongoing series, Blue Lock, gave it a tremendous boost in popularity the previous year.
