So, the duo starts their journey into the tunnel in the hopes of turning their lives peaceful. Why? Because it’s believed the tunnel has the power to grant wishes but, of course, with a COST! 

It’s indeed one of the best anime movies, like A Whisker Away. Sure, the plot is quite different but the genre and main elements and themes are very much the same. So enjoy!

Maquia is our gorgeous yet lonely female lead coping with the monotony of life. He belongs to “Mystical Lorphs,” i.e., basically, is a name given to a unique “race” who live comparatively longer than humans. 

Even though the world outside is far more brutal than she can imagine, she has always dreamt of enjoying its beauty. Unfortunately, everything flips to the worse when a Horrible Clan gets to know about Mystical Lorphs. Of course, living longer is what everyone wants, so the evil ones want to use this power for their own greed. 

Sadly, Maquia loses many of her people against villains, and she runs for her life and finally finds a safe place to survive. Guess the next? The ever-so-lonely girl finally finds a companion. She finds a baby boy alone just like her, so the girl raises the boy like a family. 

The movie is full of mini twists and turns that will keep you curious and glued throughout. Make sure to watch the movie with your friends and family. We can call it a family-friendly anime movie as it’s for teens 13 years and older.

Her helping a cat was her life-changing decision because the animal she rescued was actually a Prince of his kind. 

His name was Lune, and he invited her to his kingdom as a token of thanks. Soon after, he sent her a proposal of marriage, and in a twist of turns, she found herself trapped in the kingdom. Her stay in the cat kingdom proved to be dangerous because she was transforming into a cat, losing her human identity, which she didn’t want. 

In their time of need, the Baron helped her realize her true worth and what she wanted, which was the only way to get out of the chaos. Trust me or not, you are going to rewatch this movie multiple times! It’s that good!

Suzume’s life takes a 180-degree turn when she comes across Souta, a handsome boy. She was on his way to school, and she couldn’t forget the beautiful scene of Souta asking him about a place. To help him out, she referred him to the nearby abandoned area, only to realize it could be dangerous, so she followed him there. 

There, she found a mysterious door that led to the afterlife, but she couldn’t enter. However, while meddling with the door, she ended up freeing the Keystone, which transformed into a living cat and ran in front of her eyes.  Since the door was now open, the calamities started appearing in the world, and Souta and her worked together to close the door temporarily. 

They must find the cat and bring the thing back to its place, but the twist begins when the cat turns Souta into a chair. You heard me right, this is the winning part of the movie and it’s sooo thrilling yet hilarious watching a chair with three legs running from place to place.
