The official website for the television adaptation of the Bartender manga announced on Monday that a new anime called Bartender: Glass of God will premiere in April 2024. Not long after, the website released a Bartender Teaser Visual.
In October of last year, Shueisha announced that the Bartender manga by Araki Yoh and illustrator Kenji Nagatomo would get a new anime project. The first anime adaptation named Bartender came out in 2006 and has 11 episodes.
Bartender: Glass of God Staff and Cast
Studio Liber, currently known only for The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague, will animate the new anime. Ryōichi Kuraya will direct the anime while Mariko Kunisawa will oversee the script for the series. Yōichi Ueda is the character designer and SUNTORY will cooperate on the project.
The cast has not been revealed yet. However, the anime’s official website has released a new design for the main character, Ryuu Sasakura:

Hidden in the backstreets of the Ginza district is Eden Hall, a lone bar operated by Ryuu Sasakura, the prodigy bartender who is said to mix the most incredible cocktails anyone has ever tasted. However, not just anyone can find Eden Hall; it is Eden Hall that must find you. Customers of varying backgrounds, each plagued with their own troubles, wander into this bar. Nevertheless, Ryuu knows the ideal cocktail to console and guide each distraught soul.
