A second promotional video, main visual, and premiere date were unveiled recently for the anime television series, Yuri Is My Job! (Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto Desu!). Specifically, the announcement came through their official website and revealed the opening theme song for the series.
Yui Ogura will perform the opening theme song. She also happens to be Hime Shirasagi’s voice actress. It is titled “Himitsu♡Melody” (Secret Melody).
Ogura and Uesaka are performing the ending theme song “Yume ga Sametemo” (Even If I Wake Up From This Dream). Additionally, they will perform as their respective characters.
Yuri Is My Job! will be premiering on the 6th of April. Depending on the channels you watch, it might come out the next couple of days after that date. It will premiere in Japan on April 6 on the AT-X and TOKYO MX channels, on BS FUJI on April 7, and on BS NTV on April 8.
There will also be an advanced screening of the anime adaptation’s first two episodes, and a special talk show with the cast. This will be on March 25 at the United Cinemas Toyosu in Tokyo.

The Cast and Related Staff
Company Infinite is producing the project and the studios in charge are Passione and Studio Lings. They have Hijiri Sanpei (Wasteful Days of High School Girl) directing the anime. In addition, Takashi Ikehata (Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, Genshiken, Taishō Baseball Girls) is the assistant director. Meanwhile, Taisuke Iwasaki is the one designing the characters.
Additionally, Ryousuke Naya is the sound director. Megumi Oohashi (Ōkami-san & Her Seven Companions, The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye, Uta∽Kata) is composing the music.
As for the cast, Yui Ogura and Sumire Uesaka are reprising their roles of Hime Shirasagi and Mitsuki Ayanokōji, respectively, from the seventh manga volume’s promotional video.

What Yuri is My Job! is About
In Yuri Is My Job! Hime Shiraki is trying to do what we all wish we did: to clean up her act, and she’s succeeding at it so far. Since she’s still a high school kid, this involves having good grades, a spotless reputation, and to top it off, she is good-looking! Now, the only challenge she faced at that moment was to keep it up till she made it in life under her conditions. Her dream is to be a trophy wife for a rich guy.
Her plans were all proceeding smoothly till she slipped down some stairs. She didn’t get hurt in the fall as she managed to land on top of a girl, injuring the said girl in the process.
The girl’s name is revealed to be Mai Mikoshiba and she is the manager of a restaurant. Hime, therefore, decides to take responsibility for the injury she caused and made a move to take over Mai’s shifts till she recovered.
She later finds out that the café was girls’ academy themed. During her time there, she meets various helpful and spiteful characters and can’t help but be thrown off her usual game as every day there brought its set of challenges and joys. Stay tuned for more anime updates!
